Program Details
This is an 8-week program that requires preregistration. We are creating a community while having a group that attends regularly in order to build upon the skills taught each week.
$120 registration fee covers the 8-week program, introductory video, and karate belt
Karate Foundation & Skills
Junior Samurai students go deeper into stances, blocks, strikes, and footwork, building strong technical foundations. Children develop body awareness, coordination, and discipline while learning age-appropriate karate skills that prepare them for future belt levels.
Confidence, Focus & Goals
This program helps children build confidence through achievable challenges and positive reinforcement. Students practice focus, perseverance, and goal-setting as they work toward stripes, skills, and personal milestones.
Respect, Teamwork & Leadership
Junior Samurai introduces dojo etiquette, respectful communication, and early leadership skills. Students learn how to work with partners, contribute positively to group activities, and support their classmates as part of a friendly martial arts community.
Self-Regulation
Through structured routines, clear expectations, and movement-based activities, students strengthen emotional regulation and self-control. They learn how to manage frustration, follow multi-step instructions, and navigate challenges with patience and resilience.
